Megan met Thomas outside for a first look. The bride chose a custom gown of tulle that swept the soft grass as she approached. Thomas was in awe as he saw her for the first time. Her dress had been a guarded secret and even the smallest details were unknown to him. His amazement was clear: he was beside himself.

The sun fell behind Megan and Thomas as they said their vows and celebrated their first kiss as a married couple. It was a touching ceremony that pulled at the heart and made us all laugh, too. Family and friends came from all over to share in the day for these two – friends from every stage of the family’s life together were there. It was a wonder to have over three generations present.

The bride’s princess ball skirt was heaven to watch on the dancefloor. The couple enjoy dancing together and took classes to learn a special first dance to show their guests. In keeping with the family’s sense of fun, the groom’s side fashioned a Mother/Groom dance that turned into a fun skit that included his sisters.

The couple had a sparkling send-off after the reception. The night was special, touching and completely full of surprises. Just like love.

Summer Bloomington Minnesota Wedding : Christine and TIm

Christine Hunt wed Tim Soliday in Bloomington, Minnesota in August of 2015. The couple met for a first look before the ceremony at a local park where the summer sun and breeze filtered through the trees.

The bride emerged from a vintage Mercedes wearing a silk taffeta gown that billowed about her feet, trailing as she walked toward her groom. As Tim turned to see her for the first time, the depth of his happiness overtook him. Christine wiped his tears of joy with grace and embraced him, assured his confidence and made him laugh.

The wedding party were in good spirit and kept the summer heat off their minds by truly enjoying the day with their friends and family.

Bloomington Covenant Church was filled when the couple made their vows.

Flowers were soft roses in the bride’s choice of soft pink – which matched the champagne.

The reception at Minnesota Valley Country Club was beautifully decorated and the cake was a dream. The day was moving and all-encompassing. Just like love. It was my pleasure to be able to begin the memory-keeping for this amazing couple. Cheers to all who helped to create such a wonderful day!
